Make Your

-New- Rate Structure Calculation tool

Here is a simple tool (spreadsheet) that can be used to compare the existing RLECWD rate structure to the newly proposed rate structure.

Hopefully, this will help some customers dispel the false claims that the proposed rate restructuring will cause 300% increases.

Simply enter your most recent, or average, or high and low bi-monthly water consumption (which are included on your RLECWD bills) in CCF (hundred cubic feet) into the appropriate cell which is shaded green. There may be a value already entered into the green cells, which is the value entered by the immediately prior users of the tool. Disregard any remnants of the prior user and enter your own consumption then all the other applicable results will be recalculated. Try several values to see how different consumption amounts correlate to bimonthly bill amounts.

Be sure and use the correct meter size (5/8″ or 1″) which is also on your RLECWD bills, and you must double-click to activate the “consumption” field.

As always feel free to contact RLECWD General Manager Tim Shaw with questions or concerns. Email at GM@RLECWD.COM or call anytime at 916 991-8891.
